'In the Jingle Jangle Jungle on a cold and rainy day, four little friends found the perfect place to play. Moose had marvellous antlers and Lion a golden mane. Zebra had fantastic stripes and Sheep...well, Sheep was plain.'
Written by Australian author, Nick Bland this book has been very popular in most primary school libraries. When 4 little friends try to find a place to stay warm and dry while they play, they discover the cave they find is already occupied! After being chased away by the very cranky bear, the friends try to find a way to make the bear happy so he lets them keep warm and dry in his cave. The friends find out that sometimes being plain is not as bad as it may seem.
The story is told in rhyme and would appeal to children just learning to read.
